We have great pleasure in prеsenting the 6th M-Tel Bulgarian Amateur Championship, from the 10th to the 12th September 2009, to be played over the courses of BlackSeaRama Golf Club and Lighthouse Golf Resort.

There will be two tournaments.
The Championship format will be stroke play over three rounds of eighteen holes.
Two rounds over BlackSeaRama and one round over Lighthouse.

Note: The event counts towards world amateur ranking points.

The Plate tournament will be singles stableford played over three rounds of eighteen holes.
Two rounds over Lighthouse and one round over BlackSeaRama.
Please note that all entries should be received by the Bulgarian Golf Association no later than Tuesday 31st August 2010.

ENTRIES

1. Entries must be made on the Official Entry Form which must be completed in every detail.
2. All entries will be subject to the approval of the Championship Committee which reserves the right to accept or refuse, or having accepted, subsequently reject any entry without giving reason for its decision.
3. Entrants must confirm in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status.
4. Handicap limit Championship Tournament:

    Men: Exact HCP 9
    Ladies: Exact HCP 12

Handicap limit Plate Tournament:

   *Men: Exact HCP 10 - 19
     Ladies: Exact HCP 13 - 36

*players may enter with higher handicaps but must play off maximum 19.

5. Entry fee of 120 EUR for adults and 20 EUR for juniors may be paid either by bank transfer to the Bulgarian Golf Association or at the Golf Course on Registration. Should you wish to use the first option please reference the players name and country in payment details and state “BGA Open Amateur Championships”

PRIZES

- The winner in the Men’s Championship Tournament will become the Bulgarian Amateur Champion for the year 2010
- The winner in the Ladies Championship Tournament will become the Bulgarian Amateur Champion for the year 2010
- The Winner in the Plate Tournament will become the Plate Champion for 2010
- The Winners will receive Championship Trophies

PROGRAMME

REGISTRATION
Competitors must register at the Tournament Office at Lighthouse Golf Course not later than 18:30 on Thursday 9th September.
Practice rounds will only be allowed on the official practice days. Reservations for practice can be made by e-mailing to open2010@golfbg.com
No practice rounds may be commenced until players have registered.

HOTEL ACCOMODATION
Accommodation is provided at BlackSeaRama, Lighthouse and at the Mistral Hotel in Balchik.

Single Room – 55 euro per day
Double Room – 65 euro per day

Lighthouse
Apartment Single – 62 euros per day
Apartment two sharing – 97 euro per day
Semi – detached house – 2 – 4 persons – 122 euro per day

Mistral Hotel
Single/Double room – 60 euro per day

NOTE: All accounts for accommodation must be settled directly by the players.

TRANSPORT:
AIRPORT SHUTTLE.
Airport pickup and drop-off from Varna Airport will be provided.
There will be a 25 euro charge per person return.

TO AND FROM THE COURSE.
There will be a complimentary bus service for the players to and from the golf courses daily and a shuttle between both courses.
